Yeu Q Nguyen is an expert at proving naysayers wrong. A full-time artist and curator based in Los Angeles, she has exhibited and worked with prestigious clients such as the Southwest Museum, the Laemmle Theatre, the Geffen Playhouse, and many more. Beyond her artistic practice, Q serves as curator of exhibitions for the Ontario Museum of History & Art, as well as as grant review panelists for multiple civic art grants and commissions throughout the nation.

Are you feeling overwhelmed with the many tasks and goals that comes with being a working artist? Do you have a great project or business idea but need some help in how to get started? Are you looking for feedback and guidance on your current grant or project proposal?
I bring my life experience as a working artist, curator, teacher, and advocate into my coaching work. I’m a first-generational Vietnamese woman artist whose art practice is multi-disciplinary. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been told it was impossible for me to be a full-time working artist, I’d have enough to start my own foundation!
All that is to say: I’ve broken through many ceilings in my own journey as an artist. Some I created myself from self-internalized social prejudices and inequitable practices. My goal as a coach is to empower you to do the same: to build a creative career filled with joy and abundance.
Being an artist is hard work. While I cannot do the work for you, I hope to lighten its burden somewhat using whatever knowledge or wisdom I’ve learned from my experience.
