The intricate and delicate weaving of these works allude to the table manners and social cues we must navigate at the table, where we often choose to eat our feelings and bite our tongue at off-handed slights and derisions to maintain harmony and avoid retaliation. They explore the dining table as a setting for conflict as well as pleasure, where socio-economic and cultural tensions as well relationship dynamics are in full display.
